Uncharted 3 goes gold

Nearly a year after the announcement was made during Spike’s Video Game Awards, development for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has finally wrapped up.  The game is slated to drop on November 1st.

From the Playstation Blog:

Today we have finally reached the point of breaking through that finish line tape in another marathon of game development. We’re proud to announce that the third installment in the UNCHARTED franchise has gone gold, and is on its way to being manufactured for its November 1st release. We can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction to the next chapter of Nathan Drake’s adventures as it hits store shelves and homes everywhere in just three short weeks!

Uncharted 3 follows the adventures of the sexy and charming Nathan Drake as he travels around the world in search of the lost city of Iram.  Secondary characters Sully, Chloe, and Elena are also returning in the game.  Along with the single player campaign, the game will also have online multiplayer options as well as a co-op mode.

Here’s the recent Desert Village Gameplay Trailer from Uncharted 3.

In addition, a voucher for Starhawk multiplayer beta will be included in all retail copies of the game.  Starhawk is an upcoming PS3-exclusive multiplayer game from the creators of Warhawk.  Are you looking forward to Nathan Drake’s latest adventure?
